Smile Transformation
A personalised approach to creating the perfect smile for you
Aesthetic dentistry can transform your smile, giving you the confidence to showcase your teeth. Whether you have stained, discoloured, chipped, crooked, or missing teeth, aesthetic dentistry offers solutions to address these concerns and create a beautiful, harmonious smile.
Porcelain Veneers
Perfect teeth are always in style
Veneers are thin, custom-made shells that are bonded to the front surface of your teeth. They are used to improve the shape, size, colour, alignment and appearance of your teeth. Veneers are commonly used to address cosmetic concerns such as chipped teeth, gaps between teeth, and severely discoloured or misshapen teeth.
Dental Implants
Close the gap
If you have missing teeth, dental implants offer a permanent and aesthetically pleasing solution. Implants are artificial tooth roots that are surgically placed in your jawbone and topped with a life-like dental crown. They provide a natural-looking and fully functional replacement for missing teeth, enhancing both your smile and oral health.
Mouthguards
The mouth should have 3 gatekeepers in life –
- Is it true?
- Is it kind?
- Is it necessary?
PLUS: a mouth guard when playing contact sport or grinding your teeth!
Dental mouth guards are valuable protective devices used to safeguard the teeth and mouth during phsyical activities. They are commonly used in sports such as soccer, boxing or hockey, where the potential for collisions and contact with equipment is high. Additionally, mouth guards can also be used during sleep to prevent teeth grinding or clenching.
Emergency Procedures
Life happens
We are available to assist with dental emergency procedures that require immediate attention. Whether it’s a severe toothache, a broken tooth, or a knocked-out tooth, prompt action is necessary to alleviate discomfort and prevent further damage. We are equipped to handle a wide range of emergencies, including abscesses, avulsed teeth, severe bleeding, and fractured jaws.
Snoring devices
Why is it that people who snore the loudest are the first to fall asleep?
A snoring dental device, also known as a snore guard or mandibular advancement device (MAD), is a dental appliance designed to help alleviate snoring and mild to moderate sleep apnea. This custom-made device is worn in the mouth during sleep, to help you and your family sleep better at night.
Surgical Procedures
Sometimes additional intervention is needed
Extractions, as well as the removal of teeth is sometimes necessary following infections, injuries or other incidents. Our dentists are qualified to conduct these procedures, or in particular cases, refer you to the appropriate specialist, where needed.
Dental Restorations (Fillings)
It’s the little things…
Regular dental check-ups are essential to detect cavities or damage early on, allowing for prompt treatment with dental fillings. Good oral hygiene practices, such as brushing twice a day, flossing daily, and visiting the dentist regularly, can help prevent the need for fillings by reducing the risk of tooth decay. Fillings are done at our practice with a gentle approach, combined with the application of local anaesthetic.
Root Canal Treatments
Nobody enjoys tooth ache.
A root canal treatment is performed to treat and save a severely infected or damaged tooth. This involves removing the infected pulp (soft tissue) from the inside of the tooth, cleaning and disinfecting the root canals, and sealing the tooth to prevent further infection.
